Tile and marble cutting: tools for a clean finish

Clean tile edges are the difference between a good job and a great one.

Manual tile cutters

A manual cutter scores and snaps ceramic and porcelain tiles in straight lines. It is quiet, dust-free and very accurate for floor and wall tiles.

Electric marble cutters

For granite, marble, thick porcelain and L-shaped cuts, an electric marble cutter with a diamond blade is the right tool. Use water where possible to keep dust down and the blade cool.

Angle grinders

A 100mm grinder with a diamond blade handles notches, holes and touch-ups.

Don’t forget

A line laser makes setting out faster and straighter, and a good spirit level checks every row.
